Mozdzen Shows an Ace Against Eveslage

Niveau 27

No-Limit Hold'em

Prior to the start of the new level, table 678 selected the cadillac of poker and Chad Eveslage raised off a shorter stack to get called by Clayton Mozdzen in the big blind. Mozdzen check-called 40,000 on the A74 flop and they checked the 2 turn.

Mozdzen bet the 6 river for 80,000 and Eveslage folded, getting shown the A by his opponent. "I had a pair," Eveslage responded.

Nick Pupillo

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Nick Pupillo had lost half of his stack while James Johnson leaped into the top spot and the latter then also claimed the remainder of Pupillo's stack. After the second draw, Pupillo moved all in for the 380,000 he had behind and that sent Johnson into the tank before he called.

Both discarded one card and turned them over.

Nick Pupillo: 8x7x3x2x
James Johnson: 8x5x4x3x

Johnson spiked the 10x and Pupillo peeled his last card, then shook his head and exposed another 8x as he paired up to become the first casualty on Day 3.

Badacey

John Racener and Chad Eveslage exchanged raises before the drawing rounds until Racener was all in for a bit more than 100,000.

The players each drew two in all three rounds with Evesalge exposing 643 after the final draw. Unfortunately for him he picked up J6, leaving him with a three-card and a pair.

Racener showed 42A for a better three-card and was freerolling for a scoop. He did just that after turning over 5Q for a five Badugi and a queen low.
