Seiver Eliminated After Heated Hand With Sternheimer

Niveau 12

Omaha Hi-Lo Eight-or-Better

Scott Seiver was heard yelling across the table after a heated hand against Philip Sternheimer where the players disagreed on the betting action that took place on the river.

According to discussion from those at the table, Seiver three-bet on the river during an Omaha Hi-Lo Eight-or-Better hand and tabled his hand after a four-bet from Sternheimer, who then tabled the winner.

Seiver said he thought Sternheimer had only called and added that he would have folded to a four-bet, while Sternheimer thought he should be committed to calling the four-bet.

"You can call the floor or whatever but I'm done," said Seiver. "I paid you the right amount."

Seiver was left short and eliminated in the next hand as Sternheimer continued to discuss the hand with Kane Kalas and others at the table.

"Of course," Sternheimer said when asked if he thought Seiver was calling his raise. "He said his hand."

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Shaun Deeb was all in for his last few thousand chips ahead of the third draw in a heads-up pot against David Stamm as Deeb drew one.

"Please be drawing," Deeb said to his opponent. "Don't stand pat."

"I could stand pat. I don't know if I should," Stamm replied before drawing one.

The opponent tabled 9862Xx to Deeb's 8753. Deeb then peeled the A to show he couldn't get there and hit the rail after wishing Stamm good luck.

Nacho Wins Deuce With an Ace

Nacho Barbero

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

It was Nacho Barbero's turn to choose a game and he took his time sifting through the 20 mixed game placards as Daniel Negreanu and others at the table waited for the high-stakes Argentinian pro to make a decision.

After getting to the final placard, Barbero flipped back to the top of the stack and made another run through before landing on Limit 2-7 Triple Draw.

An early position player raised to 3,000 and Barbero and the button called. Barbero drew one and his opponents drew two.

Action checked to Barbero and he bet and drew one. Both opponents called and drew one. Each player again checked and drew one and checked once more after the third draw.

Barbero showed A6432 as he picked up an ace at the end to significantly weaken his hand. But it was enough to win as both of his opponents paired at the end and mucked in defeat.

"I'm a genius. I'm a f***ing genius," Barbero said as he took in the pot.
