Pescatori Plays the Wrong Game

Niveau 16

No-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

After Max Pescatori raised to 3,000 in the cutoff, he was met with a three-bet to 20,000 by Andrew Donabedian on the button.
Pescatori called and then drew two, while Donabedian stood pat.

The post-draw action went check-check and Pescatori discarded a single card. The dealer and Donabedian informed him that it was Single Draw, to which Pescatori replied unknowingly, "oh, we switched" thinking that they were playing Pot-Limit Triple Draw.

Pescatori then turned up his Kx7x6x3x2x, while Donabedian showed 10x9x7x4x2x for the winner.

Double Knockout for Bach

Niveau 16

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a three-way flop of KJ3, Richard Mirin bet 5,000 out of the small blind. Aaron Schaff raised to 20,000 for David Bach to call on the button. Mirin tanked for a while and pushed all-in, prompting the snap shove by Schaff and snap-call by Bach with the superior stack.

Richard Mirin: KJ53
Aaron Schaff: KK43x
David Bach: AQ109

Mirin was in rough shape against top set and a full wrap while Bach had a ton of outs to knock out two opponents. One of them came with the 10 turn and the 5 river failed to pair the board, sending Schaff to the rail as well.

Kessler Back From the Brink

Niveau 16

No-Limit Hold'em

Allen Kessler noted that he was down to just 2,500 in chips in the previous orbit but the very first hand of NLHE changed that all of a sudden. Having previously doubled, he picked up KK versus AQ and held up thanks to a 109675 board to get back into contention.

Badeudey

Picking up the action on the second draw, three bets went in between Jason Sagle, Adithya Sundar and Kirill Tsyngalev with the latter being the main aggressor. Tsyngalev patted and both opponents took two new cards, after which Tsyngalev bet again. Sagle was the only caller as Sundar opted to fold.

Tsyngalev patted again for Sagle to take two new cards and Tsyngalev then bet-called.

Sagle rolled over the 7 / 5432 for the nuts and Tsyngalev sighed. "I had a nine, nine and broke it up," Sagle mentioned in the table chat while Tsyngalev responded with "I had an eight, eight".

Greg Raymer: Ax9x / 4x8x10x3x / Xx

Greg Raymer was already all-in by the the time all cards were revealed on fifth street. He sighed after sixth street when the dealer verified if the last card should be dealt face up or down. "It doesn't matter, he can't lose anymore," Raymer noted.

Vengrin locked ip the hand with an eighty-six to knock out Raymer.

"What is your name?" the former Main Event champion asked when he was about to sign one of his rocks to give away to everyone that knocks him out. "It is on his hat," Jim Collopy suggested [which shows dickhead].
