Double Knockout for Bach

Niveau 16

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a three-way flop of KJ3, Richard Mirin bet 5,000 out of the small blind. Aaron Schaff raised to 20,000 for David Bach to call on the button. Mirin tanked for a while and pushed all-in, prompting the snap shove by Schaff and snap-call by Bach with the superior stack.

Richard Mirin: KJ53
Aaron Schaff: KK43x
David Bach: AQ109

Mirin was in rough shape against top set and a full wrap while Bach had a ton of outs to knock out two opponents. One of them came with the 10 turn and the 5 river failed to pair the board, sending Schaff to the rail as well.

Pescatori Plays the Wrong Game

Niveau 16

No-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

After Max Pescatori raised to 3,000 in the cutoff, he was met with a three-bet to 20,000 by Andrew Donabedian on the button.
Pescatori called and then drew two, while Donabedian stood pat.

The post-draw action went check-check and Pescatori discarded a single card. The dealer and Donabedian informed him that it was Single Draw, to which Pescatori replied unknowingly, "oh, we switched" thinking that they were playing Pot-Limit Triple Draw.

Pescatori then turned up his Kx7x6x3x2x, while Donabedian showed 10x9x7x4x2x for the winner.

Eichhorn Gives Some Blood

Niveau 16

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Dennis Eichhorn has built his stack up to start the day, but recently gave some back to his table in the game known by players as "Blood"

Eichhorn first raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and got called by Jon Shoreman in the big blind.

Each player drew two and Shoreman led out for 11,000, which got a call from Eichhorn.

The players drew one on the second draw and Shoreman now bet 20,000 and Eicchorn folded.

On the following hand, Eichhorn raised tom 4,500 in the hijack and got calls from Michael Trivett on the button and Frederic Moss in the big blind.

The trio each drew two and checked to the second draw. Moss drew two, Eichhorn drew one and Trivett drew two.

After Moss checked, Eichhorn bet 10,000 but got raised to 30,000 by Trivett. Moss folded and Eichhorn went into the tank.

After nearly three minutes, Eichhorn mucked his hand to send the pot to Trivett.

Buchalter Takes From Hughes

Niveau 16

Pot-Limit Omaha

Three ways to the KK79J river, Ryan Hughes announced a bet of 19,000 and that forced out Dennis Maschke. Yehuda Buchalter had other plans and quickly piled in his stack of T-5,000 chips, resulting in an instant fold by big stack Hughes.

"I better show this one," Buchalter grinned as he flashed the KK for flopped quads.

Tsyngalev Takes a Hit to the Chin

Niveau 17

Pot-Limit Omaha

Yashuo Chin raised the pot to 8,500 on the button and a frustrated Kirill Tsyngalev jammed for 26,000 out of the big blind, which Chin called.

Kirill Tsyngalev: AK104
Yashuo Chin: Q985

As soon as the 855 flop fell, Tsyngalev could all but grin and jokingly said "well played" as he was already drawing dead. The Q turn and A river were meaningless and Tsyngalev then exited the tournament with a tirade of swear words in Russian.
