Welcome to Day 2 of Event #51: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. There were 1,282 teams registered in Day 1, surpassing last year's mark of 913 participants. This year, the field generated a prize pool worth $570,490 with first place being $95,331.

Day 2 will start at 12 p.m., close to the money bubble with only 252 teams remaining and 193 to make the money. As well as the money, all of them will be competing for a 2023 World Series of Poker bracelet.

Mark Evangelista and his teammate are coming back with the nice chiplead stack of 462,000 chips. They are followed by Team Kenneth Gallo (382,000), Team Richard Ali (325,000), the duo of Amber Donatelli - Marcus Stein (325,000), and the paring of French players Jeremy Palvini - Jean-Paul Pasqualini (305,000).

Steven Loftis of Team Loftis was in the big blind when Julien Loire of Team Schumacher raised from the hijack position to 5,000 and the button called. Loftis put all of his chips in for about 19,000 and Loire called.

In the first hand, PokerNews picked up the action with A.C.R. Pro, Jon Van Fleet of Team Van Fleet, who goes by Apestyles online, betting all of his chips on the river, sans a single 500 chip, from early position and being called by a Xavier Brezniak of Team Brezniak on a board reading J♣8♥J♥10♣6♥.

Van Fleet showed down K♣Q♦ for a missed straight and Brezniak tabled A♣10♥ for two pair, jacks and tens.

In the next hand, Van Fleet would toss that remaining 500 chip in from early position and was called by Liam Murphy of Team Murphy in middle position.
