Double for Palvini

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Jeremy Palvini
Jeremy Palvini

Pot-Limit Omaha

The cards were on their backs in an all-in hand between Jeremy Palvini in middle position and a player on the button.

Jeremy Palvini: KKJ4
Button Player: AA85

The 10107 flop offered nothing more than backdoor outs for Palvini, but Palvini would hit Yahtzee on the K turn, giving him kings full of tens.

The 7 river was of no consequence, as did not improve either player's hand and Palvini would scoop to stay alive.

Buckner's "Not Folding Even if it Was a Million Dollars"

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Steven Buckner
Steven Buckner

Pot-Limit Omaha

With 3,600 in the middle and five players on the K74 flop, the action checked to a player who fired out a bet of 1,800. The button, small blind, and Steven 'Cuz" Buckner all made the call.

The 9 fell on the turn and Buckner checked to the player who bet the flop before he announced a pot-sized bet. The button got out of the way and the action was on Buckner as he asked for a count.

"I don't think I can fold this hand," Said Buckner after being told the pot-sized bet was 10,800. Buckner put in a raise and his opponent called off his stack of 15,000 before both hands were on their backs.

All-in Player: KKJ3
Steven Buckner: J1085

Buckner turned a wrap straight draw and a flush draw and the Q river completed his straight to crack the set of kings of his opponent and drag the pot.

"You know I am new to this game (pot-limit omaha) but I ain't folding that hand even if it were a million dollars to call!"

Brandon Shack Harris
Brandon Shack Harris

The action picked up in a hand between Brandon Shack-Harris on the button and a player in the big blind on a flop reading J55, and the player in the big blind check-calling a bet from Shack-Harris for 2,000.

The player in the big blind checked over to Shack-Harris once more on the 10 turn and this time was faced with a bet of 4,500 from Shack-Harris, which they decided to fold to.

On the turn of QJ6K, Cord Garcia checked to Jesse Yaginuma who fired a bet of 9,000 into the pot of just over 10,000. The third player in the hand moved all-in for 13,100, forcing Garcia to instantly muck and Yaginuma made the call.

All-in Player: A10
Jesse Yaginuma: KK

Yaginuma turned a set of kings but was behind his opponents turned straight. The J paired the board on the river though, improving Yaginuma to a full house as his opponent exited the tournament.

Stout Left Short

Niveau 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Matt Stout
Matt Stout

Pot-Limit Omaha

Matt Stout was all-in from early position against a player in middle position on a flop reading 410J

Matt Stout: 101098
Middle Position Player: AJJ2

Both players would connect with the flop fairly well, but it was the middle position player that connected slightly better, leaving Stout with one out for the win or some straight outs for the chop.

However, the 8 turn and the A river would leave Stout with the second-best hand and short on chips.

Snead Takes it on the Flop

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Paul Snead

The under-the-gun player raised to 1,200 and Steve Foutty three-bet to 3,000 before Paul Snead raised the maximum of 10,400 in the big blind.

The original raiser got out of the way quickly and Foutty made the call.

When the Q93 flop hit the felt, Snead bet the pot. The dealer announced the bet was 22,700 and Foutty mucked his hand.

"Did you have aces with some of that flop?" Asked Foutty.

"Yes," Snead replied.
