Dzivielevski Takes His Seat But No Cards

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 1,200 and got a single caller in the big blind.

The player in the big blind took three while Dzivielevski stood pat. The big blind checked over to Dzivielevski who tossed out a bet of 2,400.

The big blind folded and Dzivielevski collected his pot.

Dzivielevski is one of many players seated fresh off deep runs and bracelet wins. Shaun Deeb recently won his sixth bracelet and has had a final table appearance since, Billy Baxter is fresh off a runner-up finish in the $1,000 Seniors event, Brian Yoon is seated just a couple weeks removed from adding a bracelet to his collection and Jon Turner just sat after finishing fourth in the $1,500 buy-in edition of this very tournament earlier this afternoon.

Sammartino Makes an Eight

Dario Sammartino opened from the cutoff and received calls from Shaun Deeb in the small blind as well as Billy Baxter in the big blind.

All three players took one card with action then checked to Sammartino. He pushed a hefty 7,500 into the middle, getting a quick call from Deeb and a fold from Baxter. "Eight" announced Sammartino as he tabled 8x7x5x4x3x to fell the nine-eight of Deeb and scoop the pot.

Aggression From Livingston

Darren Elias raised to 1,100 from the small blind and faced a three-bet from John Holley in the big blind.

Elias called to get to the draw where both players stayed pat.

Elias checked over to Holley who bet out 2,000. Elias thought briefly before tossing in a call and watching Holley turn over the 10♦9♥6♠5♥3♠ for a ten-nine low.

Elias squeezed his cards one last time before sliding them into the muck and sending the pot to Holley.

Sheikhan Finds a Fold

A player in late position raised to 900 and got called by Shaun Deeb in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

Deeb took one, the big blind took two and the original raiser took one.

Deeb and the big blind checked and the player in late position continued with a bet of 3,200. Deeb verified the amount before calling and the big blind folded.

Deeb tabled 9♣8♣7♥4♦3♥, good for a nine-eight low and causing the late position player to muck his cards.
