Michael Duek arrived on table 117 and immediately got involved in three-way action with Robert Emmerson and Aaron Mermelstein, as the trio invested 12,000 each preflop. They checked the K♠9♣3♣ flop and Mermelstein asked for the size of the pot on the 7♠ turn before he bet 28,000 into 37,500. Duek and Emmerson both called and they then checked the J♥ on the river.
Emmerson tabled the A♣Q♠Q♥J♣ for a pair of queens and that won the pot.
Heads-up on a board of 9♥5♥9♠7♥, J.P. Van Der Spuy bet 18,000 and Gergo Nagy called on the button.
The river came the A♣ and Van Der Spuy fired out 25,000. Nagy quickly tossed in a green 25,000 chip and Van Der Spuy showed K♥K♣5♠5♣ for the flopped full house.
Van Der Spuy has raked in a few big pots so far in the first level and is already up to 400,000.
With 15,000 each invested on the J♠7♦5♥3♠ turn, Jeffrey Housenbold and Sam Stein then checked the A♣ on the river. Housenbold tabled the K♦10♦7♣5♣ for two pair but Stein had that beat with the A♦J♥6♣4♠ for a straight.
Also on the table are James Wiese and Darren Kramer as well.

On the latest PokerNews Podcast episode, Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen continue The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
They are joined by renowned Japanese vlogger Masato Yokosawa, AKA “World Wide Yokosawa.” While players in the United States might think folks like Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme has the biggest vlog followings in the world, that distinction actually belongs to Masato, who regularly clears 600K views on each of his vlogs!
The Japanese vlogging sensation opens up about his start in poker, what inspired him to start a vlog, and how he’s managed to turn it into a smashing success with the help of a creative team. He also talks about his desire to win a WSOP gold bracelet, how Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth are perceived in his home country, and what the future looks like for poker in Japan.
Chad and Jesse then do a new "Calling the Clock" segment in which they offer quick two-minute dialogues for topics on “The Board.”
Noah Schwartz reraised to 9,000 from the cutoff as action folded back to Artem Maksimov in early position.
"Let it go kid. If I had your looks and my money, I would be on the cover of every magazine," Schwartz told him as Maksimov considered the decision.
"I came to play," Maksimov replied as he called. The flop came 8♠4♦7♦ and Maksimov led out for 10,000. Schwartz called to see the 2♠ turn.
Maksimov this time fired out 26,000 and Schwartz again quickly called. The river came the 3♠ and Maksimov used a time bank before betting 38,000.
Schwartz now let go of his hand as Maksimov took in the pot. "I'm on tilt," Schwartz said.
Patrik Jaros and bracelet winner Eelis Parssinen have also taken seats at this table since play began.
The field is starting to fill up and the brothers Tommy Le and Allan Le are among those to have taken a seat. The former was involved in a heads-up pot with Sam Chartier, who bet the 7♠5♦5♣8♥ turn for 16,000 when checked to. Le folded and Chartier raked in the pot.
