Tyler Brown

Freddy Deeb had 23,000 out in front on the button and Tyler Brown then raised the pot from middle position for another 54,000 on top of that. Deeb elected to call and Brown instantly jammed the K94 flop, earning a snap-call by Deeb.

Tyler Brown: AQ107
Freddy Deeb: AKJ9

Brown was behind with the nut flush draw and made an inferior pair on the Q turn. The 10 river gave Deeb broadway and Brown was sent to the rail.

"I think I am your good luck charm," Erik Seidel, two seats over, said with a grin.

"I think so, too," Deeb replied. "That's why I doubled you up."

Jonathan Azoulay
Jonathan Azoulay

Santhosh Suvarna had reentered not long ago and built some profit only to see most of it obliterated in a massive pot.

The cards of Suvarna were mucked with a main pot of more than 200,000 in the middle and a full double for Jonathan Azoulay for 324,000. On a board of K645A, the KK53 of Azoulay had hit the flop hard with top set and an open-ender to drag in one of the biggest pots of the day so far.

Jaros No More After Clash With Lin

Niveau 8 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The cards and board were already exposed when Ren Lin scored a double through Patrik Jaros, while fellow Czech player Karel Mokry remarked, "He saved you. If you just called, I would have had top two and flush draw."

Lin had doubled through Jaros with the Q443 for a set on a 8426J board while the Q987 of Jaros missed an open-ended straight draw. Jaros was left with around 45,000 after the hand and busted shortly after.

In six-way action to the K103 flop, Mohammad Arani check-jammed out of the small blind. Prior to that, Jeffrey Housenbold had bet the pot for 64,000 and forced out three opponents to then call the shove by Arani with his covering stack.

Mohammad Arani: AA62
Jeffrey Housenbold: AKJ5

"I guess I don't want hearts to come," Housenbold said before he failed to connect with the 7 turn and 3 river.

"Your aces held up, good job," Housenbold said with a rather sarcastic tone.
