No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw

We caught the action post-draw with John Turner betting 300,000 from the small blind and Julio Belluscio raising enough to put him all in.

"I wanted you to call so bad," Turner said as he agonized over the decision to risk his tournament life.

After a few more moments of deliberation, Turner put in the calling chips and saw the bad news.

Julio Belluscio: 76432

"You're welcome," mentioned Turner as he made his way to the payout desk.

Glaser Finds Quads to Double Up Through Michailidis

Niveau 24
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Big O

Benny Glaser bet 315,000 from the small blind on a board of J66A and Dimitrios Michailidis called from under the gun.

When the river rolled off 7 Glaser moved all in, and Michailidis called immediately. Michailidis showed AxJxJx9x9x for jacks full but Glaser had Kx8x7x6x6x for quad sixes. With no low possible for either player, Glaser notched the full double-up.

No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw

Short on chips, Dimitrios Michailidis moved all-in from early position for 264,000 and Erick Lindgren reshoved for 530,000 from the button.

Action folded to Stuart Rutter in the big blind who asked for a count of Lindgren's stack, and then made the call upon hearing the amount.

Rutter stood pat, as did Lindgren, with Michailidis drawing one.

Dimitrios Michailidis: 9x6x5x4x/Xx
Erick Lindgren: 9x6x5x4x3x
Stuart Rutter: 9x8x6x4x2x

Lindgren's ninety-six was ahead of Rutter's ninety-eight, but could still lose to Michailidis if he drew a deuce. They could also chop with a three.

However, Michailidis peeled the Qx and headed for the payout desk.

Steve Zolotow Eliminated in 9th Place ($14,870)

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tomasz Gluszko raised preflop from middle position and Julio Belluscio called from the cutoff. Steve Zolotow then moved all in from the button for his last 262,000. Gluszko called as did Belluscio.

The flop came 654 and Gluszko and Belluscio both checked. Gluszko bet 300,000 on the 4 turn and Belluscio folded.

Steve Zolotow: KK102
Tomasz Gluszko: KJ74

When Zolotow saw the bad news that his kings had been cracked by a four, he asked, "So, I've got what, one out?"

That out did not come on the river, and Zolotow was sent to the payout cage.

Anthony Zinno Eliminated in 7th Place ($27,130)

Niveau 26
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Anthony Zinno, the shortest stack as the players returned from dinner, took the first opportunity to get it all in, and was called by Federico Quevedo.

Anthony Zinno: A643
Federico Quevedo: AA98

The dealer spread a flop of 4Q6 and Zinno took the lead with two pair, sixes and fours, while adding the better low draw.

The J turn kept that low from coming in, and gave Quevedo outs to a straight.

Which is exactly what happened when the worst card in the deck for Zinno hit, a 10 that both made Quevedo's straight, but also kept Zinno from chopping with a low.

Seemingly unscathed, the always good-spirited Zinno said his goodbyes to the table.

Pot-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

After the first draw, Julio Belluscio bet 175,000. Federico Quevedo called, Hye Park potted, and Belluscio reraised enough to put both players all in. There was a long tank while it seemed like Quevedo was considering his options, but it turned out that he wasn't aware the action was on him. Once he folded, Park called all in.

Both players then patted. Now faced with the final decision, eventually Park chose to break. Belluscio showed 8x7x5x4x2x and Park 8x4x3x2x, his tournament life depending on any five, six or seven. But it was not to be as he drew a queen, and his deep run ended in sixth place.

Lindgren Doubles Through Quevedo

Niveau 27
Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren

Pot-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Erick Lindgren called 50,000 from early position and Federico Quevedo raised to 200,000 from the button, with Lindgren making the call.

Both players drew two the first round and Lindgren checked over to Quevedo, who put out a pot-sized bet of 500,000, enough to put Lindgren all-in.

Lindgren would make the call for his tournament life.

The second round of drawing saw Lindgren taking two and Quevedo drawing one this time.

On the final round, Lindgren drew one and with Quevedo standing pat, the cards were on their backs.

Erick Lindgren: 6x4x3x2x/Xx
Federico Quevedo: 10x6x4x3x2x

Lindgren would need to draw a ten to chop or better than a ten to win outright, and after the dealer delivered his final draw card face down, Lindgren squeezed to reveal a 9x for the double.

No-Limit 5-Card Draw High

Julio Belluscio limped in early position, and Federico Quevedo followed suit to his immediate left.

Benny Glaser then raised the pot to 400,000, and Erick Lindgren, having been forced to commit all but 10,000 of his remaining chips to the big blind and ante, called off his remaining stack. Belluscio and Quevedo called as well, creating a three-way side-pot.

Lindgren drew three, while the other three players each drew one.

It was checked around, and the cards were on their backs.

Erick Lindgren: 553K/Xx
Julio Belluscio: 1010Q45
Federico Quevedo: QJ109Xx
Benny Glaser: AA998

Glaser was in the lead with two pair, aces and nines, with Lindgren needing to draw a third five in order to stay alive.

However, he would roll over the 7 and head to the payout desk.
