Banks Making Profit

On a board reading 10♣6♥3♦10♥ and with a sizable pot brewing, LaDarren Banks in the hijack bet around 3,500 and was called by the player in the cutoff.

The river fell a K♥ and after pausing momentarily, Banks fired out a bet of 15,500. The cutoff player tanked for a little under a minute before deciding to fold.

Kirk Gets There on River Redraw

Four players got all their chips in the middle on a flop that read Q♣8♠10♠.

The player in middle position was ahead with her top set of queens, but there were plenty of cards she needed to dodge. Middle position had the nut flush draw, and early position had inferior spades. Kirk was stuck with bottom set, but when the 6♣ appeared on the turn she picked up additional outs with the only club draw. When the A♣ fell on the river, she scooped a massive pot, collecting two bounties to boot.

Kempton Benefits from Boat over Boat

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Isaac Kempton limped from early position only to see the cutoff raise to 700. Both the small blind and big blind called as did Kempton to bring out the 9♥7♦10♣ flop.

Action checked to the cutoff, who tossed out a bet of 1,500. It was enough to get the blinds to fold but Kempton put in a call to see the 8♥ hit the turn.

Both players checked and watched as the dealer put the 9♠ out on the river.

Kempton decided to lead with a bet of 2,000 and faced a quick raise to 6,000 from the cutoff. Kempton paused for a brief moment and shuffled his chips as he thought before eventually putting in the call and watching his opponent turn over the A♠Q♣10♥8♠ for eights full of tens.

Kempton then tabled his hand to show the K♥J♣9♣7♠ for a better full house. The dealer turned his opponents cards face down and pushed the pot in Kempton's direction.

Two Barrels Get the Job Done for Spitzberg

On a flop of 2♠6♣4♥, Paul Spitzberg in early position, bet 2,400 and received one call, from the cutoff.

The turn came a 4♥ and Spitzberg fired again for 7,000, which was enough to get his opponent to give up the pot.

At a nearby table, players reported a remarkable comeback by Taehyung Kim, who was down to his last 300 at the start of the level and had spun it back to almost 40,000 in the past 40 minutes.

Awad Finds a River Bet, Opponent Finds a Fold

The under-the-gun player raised to 1,200 and got calls from Rami Awad to his direct left, a middle position player and the small blind leading to a 7♥2♦7♦ flop.

The small blind checked and the under-the-gun player continued with a bet of 1,800. Awad put in the call with everyone else folded to bring out a Q♦ turn.

Action checked around and the dealer put the 10♠ out on the river.

The player under the gun checked to Awad who decided on tossing a bet of 8,200 into the middle. His opponent quickly mucked and Awad slid his cards to the dealer while collecting the pot.

Pandilica Triples Up with Quads

With the flop showing 3♦J♣9♥, Alin Pandilica bet 8,800 from middle position and was called by the button and the big blind.

A 9♣ on the turn was checked by all three players.

The river fell a 3♠. Pandilica's flop bet had left him with just 300 behind, which he now committed to the pot, predictably getting two calls.

Pandilica tabled A♣Q♦9♠9♦ and his quad nines took down the hand.

Henson Gets Full Double-Up with Nut Straight

Ray Henson limped from under the gun only to hear the player to his direct left announce "pot" for 1,400. The button called as did Henson to bring out the 3♣4♦A♠ flop.

Henson checked and the early position player potted again for 6,400. The button got out of the way, and Henson put in a call to see the K♣ on the turn.

Action checked through and both players watched the 6♣ fall on the river.

Henson went all in for his remaining chips and his opponent wasted very little time in making the call to show the A♦Q♦Q♠J♠. But his exuberance didn't last long upon discovering that his hand was way behind Henson's 10♥7♦6♠5♠, giving him the nut straight for a double-up.
