Queens Win the Pot, Kings Win the Bounty

A four-way all in saw two side pots created as players surveyed their outs with cards on their backs.

The flop peeled in favor of Stinson, 5♥10♣Q♥, and when the 5♣ peeled the turn, both players with kings could only pull ahead with another five on the river, as they were blocking eachother.

The river was the A♠, which was no help to anyone and both players with kings were left to chop the bounty of the player in late position, but Stinson took the main pot with his queens full of fives.

Kasputis Takes From Aldridge

There were four limps in front of Jim Kasputis on the button — and he raised the pot to 5,200. He was called in the hijack, and by Ken Aldridge in the cutoff.

The flop came 8♦3♣10♠. Action was checked to Kasputis, who went all in for 11,200. Aldridge called, and covered.

The rest of the board ran out 2♣ 3♥ and Kasputis doubled up.

Ausmus had paired his five and needed to catch two pair or better to pull ahead. The J♠ was of no help and the 4♦ bricked out to award Zamba Ausmus' bounty.

Negreanu and Liu Chop it Up

With the board already dealt to the turn, and reading K♦9♣2♦3♣, Daniel Negreanu, in the cutoff, put out a bet of 26,500. Renmei Liu, on his immediate left, called in short order.

It looked like a big pot was brewing but a 4♠ on the end was checked by both players.

Negreanu turned over A♠A♥Q♦9♦, Liu showed A♦A♣6♥2♣ and the dealer began chopping up the chips.

Dunbar Cuts His Opponent's Night Short

Matt Dunbar raised from early position to 2,800 and got called by the small blind and the big blind to bring out a K♠9♥2♦ flop.

The small blind and big blind both checked and Dunbar continued with a bet of 4,500.

The small blind then paused briefly before raising to put himself all in. The big blind folded and Dunbar called to put his opponent at risk and headed to a runout.

The turn and river ran out the Q♠ and Q♣ sealing the small blind's fate and sending the pot to Dunbar.
