Welcome To The Final Mixed Game Tournament Of The 2023 WSOP

Lawrence Brandt
Lawrence Brandt

After many weeks of non-stop poker, Event #91: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. sees the final mixed-game tournament of the summer kick off. The popular five-game format consists of Limit Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo Eight or Better, Razz, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Hi-Lo. This event looks to draw the best mixed-game players in the world to play in this final event of this type this year.

Last year saw this event seat 327 runners and Lawrence Brandt collected his second WSOP bracelet of the summer. Brandt has appeared in many mixed game tournaments throughout the year and will likely be coming back to defend his crown in this event.

Yoon Coolers McCormick

Niveau 2

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Action was picked up after the flop with Eric Buchman in the small blind, Tom McCormick in the big blind, and Brian Yoon in the hijack.

On the KQ3 flop, McCormick bet after Buchman checked and Yoon raised which both Buchman and McCormick called.

Yoon bet when checked to on the turn 4 and both players called once more.

The river peeled off a Q and action checked over to Yoon who bet once more which only McCormick called.

Yoon turned over AKK7 for kings full and McCormick shook his head as he flipped up KQ34 for queens full which was rendered no good by Yoon's better full house.
