Picking up the action on the turn, Patrick Leonard in the cutoff was involved in a hand with a player on the button. With the board reading 3♣4♠10♥2♦ Leonard checked and then called after his opponent bet 40,000.
Leonard checked once more on the 2♥ river. The button player moved almost their entire stack into the middle, leaving themselves 1,000 behind. Leonard responded by placing a stack of chips greater than the value of his opponent's bet into the pot. However, after the exact amount of the bet was counted, it was deemed an illegal raise and therefore was changed to a call. The button player turned over K♥10♠ but it was no good as Leonard held 6♣5♣ for the straight to scoop the pot and all but felt the button player.
