After some back-and-forth preflop, Kazuomi Furuse made it 18,000 to go preflop and Jonathan Glendinning made the call to see the flop of K♠10♦6♦.

Glendinning checked over to Furuse who thought about it before sliding out a bet of 15,000 and sent Glendinning into the tank.

After a full minute, he made the call and the two went to the turn 5♦ where Glendinning checked once more. Furuse then quickly moved all in followed by a quick call from Glendinning and the cards were tabled.

The table let out a collective groan as the cards were exposed and Glendinning was drawing dead to a single out, the ace of hearts. Unfortunately, the river came the 9♠ and Furuse was awarded the massive pot to boost him over 110,000 while Glendinning was left with only 2,200.

When the flop came K♣8♠5♦, De Silva check-called a continuation bet of 1,500, while the button folded.

The 4♠ turn and Q♠ river were checked down and De Silva tabled K♠J♠ for top pair that ran into a flush.

"You almost went for it," De Silva said to his opponent as he dragged the pot.

Dan Cates, still wearing the lion makeup and fur paws from his extravagant entrance with Phil Hellmuth, went to the river in a pot against Brendon Kaufman and around 20,000 in the middle.

Kaufman checked the J♦4♥J♥8♠5♠ board before Cates, on the button, bet 14,000. Kaufman quickly called and Cates showed K♠J♠ for trip jacks.

Kaufman mucked and dropped down to a short stack as Cates took down the pot.

The flop gave 7♠Q♠J♦ and Holmes called Ly's continuation for 1,500.

Things heated on the 3♥ turn. Ly sent a second barrel for 5,500 and Holmes tanked before making a raise to 17,000. Ly replied with a reraise to 30,000, putting Holmes into a decision.

After some time, Holmes released his cards into the muck.

On the 6♥ river both players tapped the table to a showdown. The small blind rolled over 7♠7♥, but was no good against the 9♦9♠ for Yoo to score the pot and increase his stack over the 200,000 mark.

Both players checked the 5♥ turn which saw Fujita bet 30,000 when the 5♦ river landed. "It's aces isn't it," lamented the button, "oh well, I call."
