Soverel Raises the Turn and Takes It

Sam Soverel opened to 120,000 from under the gun holding A6 and Yuval Bronshtein defended his big blind with A8.

Bronshtein hit top pair on the 478 flop and checked over to Soverel, who checked behind. The turn came the Q and Bronshtein led out for 75,000.

Soverel, with straight and flush draws, raised to 300,000 and Bronshtein laid down his pair.

Soverel Takes Another One

Niveau 32 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 6,000 ante

Sam Soverel opened to 120,000 from the hijack with J10 and it folded to Aleksejs Ponakovs in the small blind with A9, who put in a three-bet to 420,000. Soverel made the call and the flop fanned out J106.

Ponakovs missed the flop and checked over to Soverel, who bet out 270,000. Ponakovs took a few seconds, but in the end tossed his cards in the muck and another pot was sent to the chip leader Soverel.

Bronshtein Has the Better Ace

Yuval Bronshtein raised to 125,000 from the cutoff with AQ and Sam Soverel called on the button holding A9.

The flop came J42 and Bronshtein bet another 85,000. Soverel called with ace-high as the 2 fell on the turn.

Bronshtein checked and Soverel bet 215,000. Bronshtein, with the nut-flush draw, peeked back at his cards before calling to the K river, where he checked again.

Soverel checked behind and Bronshtein took the pot with his queen-kicker.

Soverel Extends Lead With Three-Bet Pot

Yuval Bronshtein opened the action to 125,000 from the hijack with A10 and Sam Soverel three-bet to 350,000 on the button holding KQ. The rest of the table got out of the way and Bronshtein made the call.

On the flop of J95 both players checked their options to the K turn. Bronshtein checked again and Soverel came with a size of 475,000, which folded out Bronshtein and took down the pot.

The Chip Leaders Play a Small One

Action folded to Yuval Bronshtein on the button who raised to 125,000 with 77. Sam Soverel called in the small blind holding 88 and they went heads-up to the 259 flop.

Bronshtein continued for 75,000 and Soverel called to the 10 turn. Both players checked and the J fell on the river.

Soverel checked again and Bronshtein tapped his chip stack before surrendering the pot to Soverel's higher pocket pair.
