Soverel, with straight and flush draws, raised to 300,000 and Bronshtein laid down his pair.

Sam Soverel opened to 120,000 from the hijack with J♦10♦ and it folded to Aleksejs Ponakovs in the small blind with A♦9♦, who put in a three-bet to 420,000. Soverel made the call and the flop fanned out J♥10♣6♣.

Ponakovs missed the flop and checked over to Soverel, who bet out 270,000. Ponakovs took a few seconds, but in the end tossed his cards in the muck and another pot was sent to the chip leader Soverel.

Bronshtein checked and Soverel bet 215,000. Bronshtein, with the nut-flush draw, peeked back at his cards before calling to the K♠ river, where he checked again.

Soverel checked behind and Bronshtein took the pot with his queen-kicker.
