Perez Doubles with Nuts, Bergman Exits

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a multi-way flop of AJQ, Edward Bergman checked, a player bet 25,000, and then Erik Perez potted it to 123,000. Bergman then check-raised all in, which prompted a quick fold from the original raiser and Perez got the rest of his chips in, putting himself at risk.

Erik Perez: K1097All in
Edward Bergman: AA106

Perez was in the lead with his flopped nut straight, but he needed to fade the board pairing against Bergman or a king that would mean a chop. Fortunately for him, the runout of 67 were complete bricks and he was pushed the pot for the double.

Meanwhile, Bergman was left short and wound up exiting two hands later to Jonathan Bowers.

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Joe Shammas

Three players created a pot of 136,000 and the 952 flop was already on the felt. Geffrey Klein was first to act and bet 136,000 and it didn't take long for Joseph Shammas to announce all in for 193,000. Maksim Dukic got out of the way and Klein made the call.

Joseph Shammas: 7543 All in
Geffrey Klein: AAQ10

Shammas had flopped a massive draw with a pair, flush draw and open-ended straight draw. The 8 turn changed nothing but the 4 river gave him two pair to score the double and leave Klein short.

McNeil Takes it on the Flop

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Calen McNeil opened 17,000 in the hijack, and both Grant Hart and Grant Oen came along in the blinds.

"Let the best cowboy win," Hart said wearing a cowboy hat before the flop came out.

"You're the only cowboy here," a tablemate chimed in.

Hart responded sarcastically, "You're sharp. I didn't notice that when I said it."

The dealer spread the AK8 flop, and both Hart and Oen check-folded to a continuation-bet of 45,000 from McNeil.

Aces for Derkowski

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Grzegorz Derkowski opened to 23,000 from the hijack and found only one customer in the form of Kevin Kent to his left.

The flop came out 3107 and the action went check-check to the turn Q. Derkowski checked, Kent bet 40,000, and Derkowski called to see the Q fall on the river, pairing the board. Derkowski checked once more, and Kent checked back, which prompted Derkowski to table AAK3 for aces-up and Kent folded.

Purcell Makes Two Pair to Eliminate Fujita

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Chase Fujita opened 24,000 in the small blind and Michael Purcell called the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of QJ7, and both players checked to see the 9 turn. Fujita shoved his last 37,000 and Purcell tank-called.

Chase Fujita: A863 All in
Michael Purcell: AKQ6

The A river gave Purcell two pair to send Fujita out.
