Today sees the start of Event #22: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. This is a three-day event, with Day 1 starting at 2 p.m. local time. Late registration remains open until the end of the ninth 40-minute level. The plan is to play 15 levels, with a 15-minute break every three levels.
Players begin with 25,000 chips and Level 1 limits are 200-400. Day 1 survivors return to their seats at 1 p.m. local time on June 7 and play another ten levels, which extend to 60 minutes. Day 3 is scheduled for June 8, although its start time is yet to be decided.
John Monnette is the reigning champion of this event, having overcome 521 opponents in 2023, a result good for $145,863 and what was Monnette's fifth gold bracelet. Expect a star-studded field for this specialist event.
