Stamm's Amazing Start Gets Halted

Selahaddin Bedir raised to 8,000 under the gun and Scott Ball called on the button. David Stamm, who had already more than doubled his stack in the first level of Day 2, three-bet to 56,000 in the small blind. Bedir folded after using a time extension, after which Ball made a quick call.
On the subsequent 5♠9♦9♥ flop, Stamm put out a continuation-bet of 45,000 chips. Ball then raised to 135,000, which was enough to let Stamm lay his hand down and take down the pot.
