Soika Calls in the Nick of Time
Niveau 17
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Manuel Fritz had limped in from the small blind and Ihar Soika had checked in the big blind before both players checked on the 2♦Q♥3♣ flop. The 10♥ turn was then bet by Fritz for 150,000, which Soika called.
On the 3♠ river, Fritz jammed all in, covering the 450,000 chips of Soika. Soika spent his last remaining time banks and was down to his final few seconds before he slammed in a call.
Fritz tabled 5♠4♣ for a bluff, while Soika had made the correct call with 10♦6♣ for two pair, and he doubled up.
Not long after, Domenico Gala busted from the feature table.
