Abrams Needs Second Bullet

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Four-way limped action to the 456 flop saw things pick up when Sokchheka Pho fired 1,000 and Scott Abrams raised to 5,500. After a call from the big blind, Pho re-raised to 20,000 and Abrams moved all in for his last 10,900.

After some consideration, the big blind opted to fold leaving Abrams at risk heads up.

Scott Abrams: A10665 All in
Sokchheka Pho: AJ874

Abrams flopped a set but was trailing Pho's straight. The K turn saw Pho improve to a flush, while the 7 river left Abrams sliding his stack to the left.

"See you in a few minutes," Abrams said indicating that the defending champion was headed to the registration desk to purchase a fresh stack of 25,000 chips.

Racener Building a Stack

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action folded to the small blind who called the 600 blind, and John Racener checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came 58J and after the small blind checked, Racener bet 1,500. The small blind called to see a turn.

On the turn was the 6 and the small blind check called the bet from Racener of 3,500.

The river was the A and the player in the small blind bet the pot for 11,800, and Racener raised him all in for about 7,000. The small blind called.

Racener flipped over J9742 for the nut straight for the high and decue-four as his low. The small blind showed down AA1042 who rivered a set of aces, but was beaten by the straight of Racener. He was able to chop the low, with the same deuce-four low.
