The action was caught as three players had their cards on their backs. Sean DeMild was the covering stack and had both players at risk.
Big Blind: 10♦2♣
Under-the-Gun: 9♣9♥
Sean DeMild: A♣Q♣
The under-the-gun player was ahead with their nines, but the 4♣A♦4♦ flop put DeMild out in front. The 5♥ turn and 10♠ river changed nothing and DeMild scored a double bust out.
Dan Heimiller limped in from under the gun, prompting the button and the small blind the call. The big blind checked their option.
All four players checked to a showdown as the full board read 4♠A♣K♠5♠4♦. Heimiller quickly tabled 8♣8♥ which was seemingly enough to see all three other holdings pitched to the muck.
It was time for a Pot-Limit Omaha bomb pot at the table and the two flops were: K♥7♣4♥ 6♣4♣3♠
Daniel Hendriks was first to act and checked. Ruark Merchon, who started the hand with about 35000 chips, bet from middle position. Action folded back to Hendriks, who now raised Merchon all in. Merchon called.
Ruark Merchon: A♦A♣10♣4♠
Daniel Hendriks: 7♠6♥5♥3♦
Hendriks had a straight on the bottom and a wrap and a flush draw on the top board. Merchon, on the other hand, had aces and the nut flush draw on the bottom board, and only the overpair of aces on the top.
The boards ran out: K♥7♣4♥9♣J♠ 6♣4♣3♠K♠K♣
There was some confusion for a few moments about whether this is a chop, but Hendriks‘s straight was no longer good on the bottom board, because Merchon made a flush on the river. The top board also didn‘t bring any of Hendriks‘s outs, and Merchon won with two pair to scoop the pot and more than double up.
The hijack raised to 7,000, Quan Zhou called in the cutoff and the button squeezed to 31,000. Joe Klonowski, in the small blind, called off the bet for his last 21,500, and the hijack called off the bet for their last 22,000. Zhou also called the button's raise.
The flop landed 3♥J♥9♠ and Zhou moved all in, putting the button to the test for their effective stack of approximately 95,000. The button snap-called.
Joe Klonowski: Q♣Q♠10♥2♠
Hijack: K♥J♣J♠3♣
Button: A♣A♦10♦6♦
Quan Zhou: 10♣9♦8♣7♦
The hijack was ahead with their set of jacks, however, the K♣ turn and 10♠ river gave Klonowski a straight which was good for the main pot. Zhou made a smaller straight to claim a hefty side pot.
