Patrick Kennedy opened to 12,000 on the button and Michael Steele called.

Steele checked to Kennedy on the A♦7♠8♠ flop and he continued for 8,000. Kennedy then check-raised to 28,000 and, undeterred, Kennedy announced another raise to 72,000. Steele called.

The 3♦ fell on the turn and Steele checked to Kennedy, who fired 160,000 into the middle. Steele announced he was all in and Kennedy snap-called all in for 481,000 total.

Steele turned over 7♥7♦ for a set of sevens, but Kennedy showed him the bad news as he turned over 8♦8♥ for a higher flopped set.

“Brutal cooler,” Kennedy said as he collected the pot.

Smith tabled 7♠8♦ for trip eights and collected the pot.

After action was picked up on the turn, on a 6♣6♥Q♠8♣ board, Marko Grujic checked to Joseph Miller, who then bet 33,500. Grujic wasted little time and made the call to head to a river.

With 120,000 in the pot the J♣ completed the board. Grujic checked over to Miller, who bet 150,000. Grujic took majority of the shot clock before declaring all in. Miller double checks his cards, before deciding to lay his hand down, giving Grujic the pot and the lead in this heads-up match.
