Liperis Makes Two Pair to Double
Niveau 29
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Juan Vecino opened 240,000 in early position and Yiannis Liperis defended the big blind.
When the dealer fanned the 7♣5♥4♣ flop, Liperis jammed for 630,000. Vecino thought about it for a few moments and made the call.
Yiannis Liperis: 9♦7♦
Juan Vecino: Q♥J♣
Liperis flopped top pair and the 9♠ turn improved him to two pair to seal the deal and the J♥ river was just a formality as the dealer pushed the pot his way.
