Day 3 of Event #60: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker has come to an end at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. A total of 1,773 entrants were recorded, generating a total prize pool of $4,733,910.
By the end of the night, only 13 players remained of the 105 players that began the day as they battle for the $676,900 first-place prize and the WSOP gold bracelet. Among the remaining players, Noel Rodriguez leads the pack with a massive stack of 15,425,000, and hot on his heels is Justin Belforti with 15,050,000 both more than doubling Brandon Mitchell who bagged the third highest count with 6,050,000.

Not all who made Day 3 were fortunate enough to advance into the final day, though including Benjamin Spragg (75th), Simon Wiciak (70th), Anthony Zinno (62nd), Andre Akkari (57th), and Kristen Foxen (55th) when she lost a race against Alexander Tkatschew who went on to finish in 22nd place.
The final 13 players are guaranteed a payout of $37,580, but all eyes will be on the grand prize of $676,900.

The 8♦4♠3♦ was a good one for Shankar as he picked up a flush draw to go along with his two live cards. The 6♣ turn gave him a straight draw and the 7♠ river improved him to a pair of sevens to double through Kade.

Benjamin Gold opened to 320,000 from the hijack and he was called by Noel Rodriguez in the cutoff, Justin Belforti on the button and Brandon Mitchell in the small blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of K♠3♥5♣ where everybody checked. But after Mitchell and Gold checked again the 3♠ turn, Rodriguez bet 500,000. He was only called by Belforti.
The Q♦ completed the board and Rodriguez checked. Belforti took this opportunity to bet 1,500,000 and made Rodriguez fold.

Immediately after doubling Huihan Wu was back in the action as he raised 320,000 under the gun. The action folded around to Chris Klodnicki who announced all-in from the big blind and Wu wasted no time calling off his 1,830,000.

It looked to be showers for Wu as Shankar made two pair on the 10♠9♦A♠ flop. The 5♣ turn was no help for Wu but the J♦ river gave him a higher two pair which kept him alive late on Day 3.

After just quintupling up, Yiannis Liperis was in the big blind and called off his stack of about 360,000 when Paolo Boi jammed from the small blind.

The K♠Q♦Q♠ flop wasn't looking promising for Liperis, although he picked up a glimpse of hope as the 6♠ fell on the turn to give him a flush draw but the 2♦ river was no help, sending him to the payout desk in 14th place.
