Belforti Saved by the River
Niveau 37
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Justin Belforti opened 3,000,000 on the button and Paolo Boi slid a stack of 500,000 chips across the line for a raise of 10,000,000. Belforti shrugged as he called off his stack of 5,675,000.
Justin Belforti: J♠9♠
Paolo Boi: A♦3♠
The 10♦8♣5♠ flop gave Belforti an open-ended straight draw. The 10♥ turn was no help but the J♦ river paired his jack as he ran to the rail to give high fives all around.
