De Jong Knocks out Hammers

Minjeong Kim raised from under the gun to 7,000 and Gloria Vasquez called from middle position, Sherry Hammers called from the button and Dehlia De Jong called from the big blind.

The flop came out with 738 and Kim bet out 14,000 Vasquez folded and Hammers moved all in for 47,000 and De Jong also moved all in for 78,000 and Kim folded.

De Jong was in the lead with a set and the turn 5 did not change that and the river 7 gave her a full house for the win.

In the next hand, Davis raised from under the gun to 8,000 and Kristin Brotherton moved all in from the cutoff for around 39,000. Davis covered and called Brotherton and the players flipped their cards.

Wendy Nguyen and Tamao Kobayashi were heads-up and on a 9JAQ board with a pot of around 40,000.

Kobayashi raised from the small blind to 18,000 and Nguyen moved all in from the big blind. Kobayashi paused, checked her cards, and made the fold. Leaving Nguyen to take the pot a few hands before the break.

Kobayashi was still sitting with one of the largest stacks after the hand with around 350,000 chips.

Oar Defends the Big Blind

Jennifer Oar was in the big blind and faced a raise from the table chip leader on the button Linda Durden of 6,000. Oar made the call and Lexy Gavin-Mather also called from the small blind.

The flop came out with 548 and Oar must have hit the big blind special as she bet out 10,500 after Gavin-Mather checked. Duren considered and then folded and Gavin-Mather also folded. Oar revealed A8 for the top pair.
