Schulman Finds a Double

Niveau 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Nick Schulman raised to 2,500 from the cutoff, before being three-bet by Christofer Vitch to 8,700. Eric Wasserson called from the small blind, and Schulman elected to four-bet all in for 42,300. Vitch got out of the way, and Wasserson called to put Schulman at risk.

Both players drew one card.

After both players drew one card, Wasserson quickly flipped over his card which was Ax and when Schulman turned over Qx it meant he had the best hand and secured the double up.

Wasserson was left with just 3,800 chips after the hand and was seen exiting the tournament area shortly after.

Michael Rocco raised to 2,000 in the hijack, Oscar Johansson made it 7,000 to go in the cutoff, and Rocco called once the action folded back to him.

Rocco then drew one and Johansson stood pat.

After the draw, Rocco piled in all of his chips, covering Johansson's stack of roughly 37,000 chips.

Johansson made a visibly frustrated call and got shown 7x6x5x4x2x by Rocco. Johansson tabled 10x5x4x3x2x for a perfect ten, which would be his final hand of the tournament as he used up his one and only reentry.

On other tables, Jonathan Krela also departed, while Maxx Coleman rebought and Adam Friedman bought in freshly.

Benny Glaser raised to 2,500 from early position. When action folded to Oscar Johansson who just rebought back into the tournament, he three-bet to 7,000.

Both players decided to stand pat.

Johanson then checked Glaser who put out a bet of 9,000. Johanson debated his decision, but eventually decided to fold his hand, and give the pot to Glaser.

Rheem Takes it Down

Chino Rheem raised to 2,300 from middle position and was called by Eric Wasserman in the hijack. Dario Alioto then three-bet to 10,300 from the small blind, and both Rheem and Wasserman made the call.

Rheem and Wasserman drew one card, while Alioto stayed pat.

After Alioto checked to Rheem, he bet out 15,000. Wasserman mucked his hand, and Alioto was stuck in the tank. After about a minute, he did decide to fold and give the pot to Rheem.
