2024 World Series of Poker
Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the tenth episode, Connor speaks with health and life coach Tyler Todt, a longtime poker player who made seven figures in early online poker days before taking a job in the banking industry and eventually leaving that to become his own boss and a health influencer.
Todt talked about online poker pre-Black Friday, bum hunting Tom Dwan, the benefits of a balanced life, avoiding the pitfalls of Las Vegas, being bullish on humanity and his favorite non-fiction books.
This interview was filmed at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) inside Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
The Life Outside Poker podcast is available on major streaming platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and iHeartRadio. You can also watch the interview with Tyler Todt by heading to the PokerNews YouTube channel.
Scott Seiver raised to 25,000, Jonathan Krela jammed all in for 91,000, and Seiver called. Seiver drew one and Krela patted.
Jonathan Krela: 9x8x7x6x4x
Scott Seiver: 8x7x6x3x
"You win," Seiver said as he turned over a Qx as final card.
On another table, Phil Hellmuth got his last chips in against Chris Hundley. Allegedly, Hellmuth drew one card and so did Hundley, with the latter unconventionally breaking a jack-low.
Hellmuth then made a better low than a jack, but Hundley drew even better and eliminated his opponent from the tournament, much to the amusement of his table.

Once the big blind folded and it was back to Ausmus, he four-bet all in for 392,000. Harmon debated her decision for over a minute, before eventually folding and giving the pot to Ausmus.

Majid Yahyaei raised to 20,000 from the hijack, getting called by Scott Seiver in the big blind. Seiver drew one card and Yahyaei discarded two.
"Rude," commented Seiver before looking at his cards and tossing in 12,000 chips.
Yahyaei thought about it for a good while before reluctantly calling. Seiver tabled Jx9x8x6x2x for a jack-nine, and Yahyaei flung his cards into the muck.
