There was a raise to 800 from middle position. The player in the hijack called before Aleksejs Ponakovs called out of the big blind.

Ponakovs checked the 4♥2♦4♣ flop, and the initial raiser bet 1,100. The hijack folded, but Ponakovs stuck around with a call.

The 8♦ on the turn got checked through for the J♠ to fall on the river. Ponakovs check-folded to a bet of 2,000 from his opponent.

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Vladas Tamasauskas in the big blind, the player in middle position and the player in the cutoff.

With about 4,000 in the pot and the board reading J♣6♥10♥8♠, Tamasauskas checked, middle position checked, and the cutoff bet 4,800. Tamasauskas raised to 15,000 and middle position got out of the way.

The cutoff thought for a moment, before eventually tossing his cards into the muck and mentioning that he had made a big fold.

Lodge Loses a Four-Bet Pot

After an open by the cutoff to 600 called by the button and the small blind, Harry Lodge in the big blind squeezed to 4,500. However the cutoff decided to four-bet to 11,300. Lodge was the only one to call.

The cutoff continued for 5,000 on a flop of 7♥3♣K♦. Lodge, who checked, eventually made the call to find the 7♣ turn where the cutoff fired a second barrel of 10,200.

Lodge went into the tank, but check-folded.
