Trivett Gets Aces Again

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Michael Trivett on the button was involved in a hand with a player in early position.

With the board reading A472J the early position player bet 13,000. Trivett responded with a raise to 35,000, representing roughly half of his opponent's stack. After considerable thought, the early position player sigh called holding AJ as he seemed prepared to lose the pot. That was, in fact, the outcome with Trivett tabling AA for a set of aces.

Ochs Survives to Play More Hands

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Richard Ochs found himself as one of his table’s shorter stacks and he elected to move all in out of early position with his remaining 3,800.

A player to his right called to put Ochs at risk.

Richard Ochs: Q10 All in
Opponent: K5

The dealer fanned 10K6 on the flop, giving Ochs a pair of tens and his opponent top pair.

The 9 appeared on the turn, giving Ochs a gutshot straight possibility. Ochs completed the straight when J arrived on the rive to give him the winning hand and much-needed chips.
