Ievchenko and Spallone Make Flushes

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Nathan Forrest had open-raised preflop and Oleksii Ievchenko and Gabriella Spallone called in the blinds. The K95 flop then checked through before Forrest bet 3,600 on the 5 turn after two more checks.

Ievchenko raised to 9,000 and Spallone called. Forrest had seen enough and laid his hand down as the A river to complete the board.

Ievchenko slowed down and checked, prompting Spallone to bet 21,000 chips. Ievchenko quickly called and was shown J7 by his opponent.

The early position player put in another raise, making it 25,000, forcing the hijack and Peterson to snap-fold, while Lemery made the call.

Jaka Saved By the River

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Faraz Jaka raised all in for 6,000 from under the gun, and when it folded to the button Joshua Timler, he made the call. Both of the blinds folded leaving the two players heads up, with Jaka at risk.

Faraz Jaka: A4 All in
Joshua Timler: 33

Timler was ahead with his pocket threes, but Jaka did have two over cards. After the flop came 3J7 it improved Timler to a set but it gave Jaka a flush draw as well. The 6 on the turn also gave Jaka additional outs with a straight draw. That straight draw came right in on the river when the 5 hit the felt, to improve Jaka to a seven high straight, and secure the double up.
