There were around 400,000 chips in the pot on a board of K♠4♥6♠3♦2♦ when David "Bakes" Baker shoved the river for 285,000. His opponent in early position was deep into thought but concluded on a fold, and Baker was pushed the pot.

Picking up the action partway through the hand, Ruben Hovsepyan in late position was all in and at risk against a player in early position.
Ruben Hovsepyan: A♠3♠
Early Position Player: A♥A♦
Hovsepyan was in awful shape but did find some faint hope on the 3♥8♥7♦ flop. The J♦ turn did not change anything but the 3♦ river was a miracle for Hovsepyan as he doubled up in fortunate fashion.
Another player at the table, Donavan Cox, revealed that he had folded queens preflop, thus preserving his stack.
Jeffrey Kenny got his stack of 765,000 in the middle before the flop from under the gun as an opponent on the button put him at risk.
Jeffrey Kenny: A♣A♥
Opponent: Q♥Q♦
Kenny was far ahead with his aces and poised for a double up as the flop came 6♠10♦9♥. The J♦ turn gave his opponent some hope with a straight draw, but Kenny held on through the 5♥ river to double up.
"Yes. Always a sweat," he yelled out before taking in the pot.
Jose Aguilera, last year's 10th-place Main Event finisher, is also at this table.
Luis Vazquez had just busted Ari Engel when he got involved in another big pot shortly afterward.
Around 200,000 was already in the middle on a board of K♦7♥9♣10♥ when Vazquez bet 115,000 from the big blind. An under-the-gun player raised to 230,000 and Vazquez instantly reraised to 515,000.
His opponent tanked for several minutes before calling for around 300,000 more and turning over A♦K♣ for top pair. Vazquez, though, had 7♣7♠ for a set and the at-risk player was already drawing dead before the 6♣ fell on the river.
"I'll have what he's having," a tablemate said as Vazquez raked in the pot.
"Alright, who's next," Vazquez joked.
Patrick Clarke raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Christopher Victor clicked it up to 60,000 from the next seat for the Irishman to call. Both checked the J♥10♠3♦ flop and Clarke checked the 9♣ turn. Victor bet 70,000 but folded when Clarke check-raised to 260,000.
