The Rail Explodes as Moroz Takes Out Kim

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Yegor Moroz
Yegor Moroz

Four players saw a flop of Q2A where Kenneth Kim bet 375,000 in the hijack. Yegor Moroz then raised to 850,000 in the cutoff.

Malcolm Franchi and Brian Hawkins folded as action went back to Kim who called. The turn was the 2 and Moroz bet 2,075,000.

Kim then moved all in for 6,050,000 and Moroz tanked for a minute before calling. Kim showed KQ for two pair, while Moroz had AQ for aces and queens.

"He's dead," Moroz's passionate rail yelled out when the cards were revealed. The river was the 3 and they erupted in celebration as Moroz raised his arms into the air, then ran over and embraced his supporters as the massive pot was pushed his way.

"Your rail is very subtle," tablemate Charles Russell told him when Moroz sat back down.

Mixson Misses Out on a Double-Up

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

There were already around 3,000,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 5A6 when Cameron Mixson bet 350,000, leaving himself just 150,000 chips behind. Mauro Juarez shoved, and Mixson was in the tank for quite a while as the next player eliminated would miss out on a pay jump. Eventually, the clock was called and Mixson made the call with a few seconds to spare.

Cameron Mixson: A8 All in
Mauro Juarez: QQ

Mixson was in prime position to double up and just needed to fade a queen to stay alive.

Things got interested on the 2 turn as it put four spades on board, and a fifth landed on the river as the 10 meant both players were playing the board.

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Stephen Song called from the small blind and Rodrigo Garrido Portaleoni checked his option in the big blind.

Portaleoni called a 150,000 bet from Song on the 3QQ flop and a 400,000 bet from Song on the 6 turn.

Song fired 1,000,000 into the middle on the A river and Portaleoni shoved for 2,075,000 total — sending Song deep into the tank.

Collins Shoves on Porto

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

David Collins raised to 325,000 under the gun as action folded to Bruno Porto in the big blind, who three-bet to 1,200,000. Collins called.

The flop came 1074. "Pulling the trigger?" Collins asked Porto before the Brazilian bet 275,000. Collins immediately announced all in and Porto snap-folded.

"Two queens?" a tablemate asked Collins.

"No. You think I'm just flatting with two queens," Collins replied.

Malcolm Franchi opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Adrian Garcia called in the next seat as Gaston Martinez called in the big blind with a short stack.

Martinez led out for 225,000 on the flop of 635 and Franchi raised to 450,000. Garcia then three-bet to 2,300,000 and Martinez went deep in the tank before folding. Franchi then folded JJ face-up.

"I know you flatted aces because of the short stack in the big blind," Franchi told his opponent, who did not reveal his hand.

Martinez busted soon after when the final nine tables were set.

Two tables down, Daniel Erlandsson raise-called the shove by Jean Lhuillier, who pulled the "getting up from his chair" trick during the below showdown.
