Zakarian Shows Geith a Set

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Robert Geith raised to 300,000 from the hijack and was called by Veerab Zakarian in the small blind.

Zakarian led out for 300,000 on the 234 flop and Geith min-raised to 600,000. Zakarian called.

The A fell on the turn and Zakarian led out again — this time for 450,000. Geith called.

Both players checked down on the K river and Geith announced a pair of aces. Geith tabled 33 for a flopped set of threes and Zakarian showed AxJx before sending it into the muck.

"Wrecking Ball" Davis Fills Up in a Monster Pot to Bust Sanchez

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Kevin Davis

Three players saw a flop of 952 where Brian Rast bet 850,000 from early position. Kevin Davis then raised to 1,800,000 in middle position.

Action then went on Francisco Sanchez in the big blind who moved all in for 7,000,000. Rast asked for a count of both opponents' stacks as he went into the tank for several minutes.

He eventually folded, but Davis snap-called to create a massive pot with more than 15,000,000 at stake.

Francisco Sanchez: AJ All in
Kevin Davis: 22

Rast said he folded two jacks as Sanchez showed down the nut flush draw, while Davis had a set of deuces. The turn was the 5 and Davis improved to a full house to leave Sanchez drawing dead.

Sanchez cruelly saw the 8 fall on the river that completed his no-good flush and laughed it off as he filmed the action before heading for the rail.

"You're a wrecking ball, man," Rast told Davis, who moved up to 26,000,000 and into the tournament chip lead.

Dourado Takes a Five-Bet Pot with Aces

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

After Aloisio Dourado three-bet to 1,000,000 from the hijack with AA, Alex Keating in the cutoff four-bet to 2,400,000 with 88. The button and the blinds folded, then Dourado chose to five-bet to 4,100,000.

Keating went into the tank, and eventually made the call to see the 3K3 flop. Dourado continued for 2,500,000, and Keating decided to fold.

Yake Wu opened to 300,000 from early position and Andrew Arbogast three-bet jammed a stack of 1,7750,000 from the big blind. Wu gave it some thought and called with a bigger stack.

Andrew Arbogast: 66 All in
Yake Wu: A9

Wu took a big lead on the flop of AJK and the runout of A7 only improved his hand as Arbogast was sent to the rail.

The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.
