Day 4 is the last day of Event #89: $3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship No-Limit Hold'em at the World Series of Poker, hosted by Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. With a record 3,117 field, the largest ever recorded field for a $3,000 tournament, today will see a winner crowned for this new championship event. Only 17 players return to battle it out for the first place prize of $1,041,989 and the elusive WSOP gold bracelet.

Yesterday saw the field go from 147 to just 17. Notable players who busted on Day 3 where Pete Chen, Aditya Prasetyo, Main Event champion Scott Blumstein and Michael Soyza, who made it through to the later stages of the day and was busted by Dong Chen in a battle of the blinds. Four-time bracelet winner Asi Moshe also made it through most of the day and busted when only 50 players of the original 3,177 field remained.

Dong Chen is the last of the $25k Fantasy players to make it through to the final, taking through a 10,950,000 stack and starting the day third in chips. Just above him in the counts is Taylor Black, who had a great last level in the day, taking him to the top of the counts (20,725,000). Adam Owen starts the day second in chips, sitting with 15,175,000.

Alex Livingston, Taylor Paur, Patrick Leonard, Jim Collopy, John Riordan and Brock Wilson all made in to Day 3 but busted throughout the day yesterday and fell short of the final day. It was an early bust for Wilson after a three-way all in saw him lose his stack with queen-ten suited.
