According to the players involved, there was a big hand that developed in which Jaspal Brar was sent to the rail and Alex Aqel chipped up massively.

On a board reading {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-} {8-} {k-Hearts}, there were three players all in: a player in early position, Brar, and Aqel. Aqel tabled {j-}{j-}, Brar tabled {8-}{8-}, and the other player tabled the ace-high flush. Aqel took it down with his bigger boat and Brar, being shorter than Aqel, was sent packing to think about a reentry.

Jaspal "DR B" Brar is a well known pro from Edmonton Alberta where he primarily plays PLO at some of the highest stakes offered. He has converted into playing tournaments as well as cash games and is in search of his first WSOP bracelet after having multiple wins in Canada and deep runs in previous WSOP events.

Alex Aqel is an American pro from Orland Park, Illinois. Most recently he has a WSOP Circuit ring from the main event in Milwaukee back in February and is also in search of his first bracelet. He has over $400,000 in recorded live tournament earnings and over $220,000 in WSOP earnings.
