Schulz Doesn't Buy Ravn's Click-Raise

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

On the turn reading {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, Michael Falcon Ravn and Kevin Schulz went after each other. Schulz was under the gun and after being checked to made it 38,000 to go. Big blind Ravn placed in chips for a raise, although he didn't put the full amount required for a min-raise. The dealer amended his move to 76,000 and Ravn put in the extra few chips.

Schulz paused for a minute before announcing he was all in, shoving around 250,000 total. Ravn acted faster as he folded within a few seconds to let the PCA Champion take down this one.

Harald Sammer Cracks Ralph Perry's Kings

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ralph Perry raised to 26,000 from under the gun, and Farah Galfond called from early position. Harald Sammer was in late position and moved all in for 195,000, and the decision was back on Perry. He tanked for about a minute and eventually called. Galfond put her hands in her head, clearly agonizing over the decision she was put to for her remaining 150,000 in chips. Eventually, she folded.

Perry tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, and Sammer was disappointed to see he was well behind and at risk with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Perry was looking good to eliminate another player and add to his stack. The turn, however, was the {a-Clubs} and Sammer had a relieved look on his face as he took the lead with a pair of aces. The river was the {2-Hearts} and Sammer was safe.

Jessica Dawley

Action folded around to Jessica Dawley in the cutoff and she raised to 26,000. Kevin Schulz was in the small blind and asked how much she started with. Dawley confirmed she started with close to 500,000, and Schulz called. Bryan Piccioli was in the big blind and defended as well.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and action checked to Dawley. She bet 29,000 and Schulz called, while Piccioli quickly folded.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and both players checked to the river, which was the {3-Hearts}. Schulz grabbed some chips and led out for 62,000. Dawley wasted no time and called.

"I have the nut low," said Schulz as he tabled {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Dawley tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and scooped the pot with nines and sixes.

Blanco Approches Two-Mill Ball

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Lucas Blanco was already maneuvering one of the largest stacks in the tournament room, and he just added another huge portion of chips to his stack.

Under the gun, Blanco raised to 26,000. The action folded to Leonardo Patacconi who declared "all in" from the big blind. Blanco began scanning his opponent's chip stack, looking at Blanco's 40-chip tall piles of 1,000-chips. The dealer started helping Blanco with the count, but he opted to call before an exact count was determined.

Leonardo Patacconi: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Lucas Blanco: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

A standard race went Blanco's way after the {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Spades} hit the felt, delivering nothing for Patacconi. Blanco merged his former right-hand opponent's chips with his stack, then politely asked "Excuse me, can I get a chip race, please?"

Niveau 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After the elimination of Garrett Greer late on Day 2 yesterday, the last 2016 Millionaire Maker final tablists standing in this event are Arkadiy Tsinis and Stanley Lee.

A year ago Tsinis finished in sixth place in the Millionaire Maker for $210,112, and Lee was the first player to be eliminated on the official final table in ninth place for $96,091.

Hubbard Out and Rast Left Short

Niveau 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

David Hubbard was all in from the small blind for 45,000 preflop. He was called by Brian Rast in the big blind and Matt Affleck in middle position, meaning Affleck and Rast were heads up on the side.

The flop was {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Rast fired out a bet of 45,000 that was called by Affleck.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Rast checked. Affleck quickly bet 60,000, sending Rast into the tank for a couple of minutes. Rast eventually called and Affleck tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush. Rast mucked his cards and Hubbard showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} which couldn't beat Affleck's flush and Hubbard headed to the rail.
