Vitch Pats then Folds

Niveau 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Chris Vitch took two on the first draw, and Ron Ware took three in a battle of the blinds. Vitch bet, and Ware called. On the second pull, Vitch patted, and Ware took a card. Ware called another bet, and the draw action repeated. This time, Vitch checked. Ware bet, and Vitch thought awhile, then released.

No-Limit Hold'em

Chris Vitch's 8-Game run has come to a close. The Day 1 chip leader lost his tournament life when he open-shoved his remaining 350,000 from the small blind, and Ron Ware called in the big blind to put him at risk.

Vitch: {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Ware: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}

Vitch was in bad shape, hoping for a queen to crack Ware's jacks, but he wouldn't get one. The {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} board was all but dramatic, sending Vitch to the rail in fifth place. The WSOP bracelet winner collected $27,142 for his efforts.

Ware is now navigating more than two million chips, nearly 60 percent of all the goods in play.

Boat for Ware

Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Stud

Ron Ware completed with the {10-Diamonds}, and Sachin Bhargava defended the bring-in with {5-Diamonds}. He check-raised fourth street and bet fifth, but Ware picked up an open pair on sixth.

Ware: {x-}{x-}/{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Bhargava: {x-}{x-}/{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts}

At that point, both players checked. Ware bet the river, and Bhargava slammed some chips together in frustration. He folded, and Ware showed {10-}{3-}{2-} for tens full.

Soulier Quartered by Bhargava

Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Fabrice Soulier called Sachin Bhargava's raise, and the two players in blinds saw the board run out {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Bhargava' line was straightforward; he went bet-bet-bet. Soulier called on all three streets, but his {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} was good only for a quarter of the pot.

Bhargava opened his {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}, chopping the low with Soulier and taking the high half of the pot with two pair, tens and threes.

Ross Doubles Through Ware

Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mike Ross bet every street from the big blind against small blind Ron Ware, as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}. Ware called the last 37,000 on the end, and Ross announced sevens full, tabling {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Ware mucked what looked like {k-}{k-}{q-}{9-}.

Soulier Doubles Through Ware

Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Ron Ware raised in the cutoff, and Fabrice Soulier defended his big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and Soulier check-called. On the {k-Diamonds} turn, he bet out, and Ware put him all in for 27,000 more. Soulier called with {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush, and Ware had seen a worst-case turn with {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. He was already drawing dead, and Soulier doubled.

Ware Looks Up Bhargava

Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The rich get richer — that's the story of the past few minutes in the 8-Game tournament. Ron Ware just picked off Sachin Bhargava in no-limit hold'em round to extend his already commanding lead.

The hand started with Bhargava's button-raise to 50,000. Ware defended his big blind with a call.

The {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop was checked through, and so was the {6-Spades} turn. Ware led the {A-Spades} river, though, making it 55,000. Bhargava raised to 180,000, and Ware called instantly. Bhargava had {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and likely knew his third pair was no good. Ware showed {J-Spades}{10-Spades} for a turned flush.
