The House Of Felipe Ramos

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

Felipe Ramos had got to the turn of a board reading {2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts} and action was checked to him.

Ramos bet 3,700 and his opponent called.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and it was checked for a final time to Ramos who gave his action some consideration before betting a chunky 35,000 which his opponent called.

Ramos flipped over {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a rivered full house and his opponent showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

“I was going to check behind,” Ramos said.

“I should have raised the turn,” his opponent said.

An Action Table

Upeshka De Silva

Joining the action on the three-way flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Upeshka de Silva checked out of the small blind as did the big blind. Emile Schiff bet 3,400 on the button and de Silva check-raised to 9,200. The big blind folded and Schiff called. After the {K-Diamonds} turn, de Silva bet 23,400 and that did the trick to win the pot uncontested.

One hand later, a short stack shoved for 37,000 and Schiff asked for a count before tossing in a single chip for the call. All other players folded and the player at risk showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Schiff had {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and flopped a set to leave his opponent drawing dead on a turn of the board {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Soon after, Natasha Mercier raised to 4,000 and Schiff three-bet to 15,300. Mercier moved all in and Schiff quickly folded.

One table over is another de Silva, Sampath that is, who holds a big stack.

Gonia Wins the Raising War

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The action was folded around to David Gonia in the cutoff who raised to 4,000. Maria Ho was in the small blind and put out a three-bet to 12,5000. The big blind folded and the action was back on Gonia. He thought for a moment before making a four-bet to 31,000. The raise was for nearly half of Ho's stack and, after looking up and down her opponent, she decided to lay her hand down.

Moraes Back to Business

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Brazilian poker pro Rafael Moraes started as one of the bigger stacks and suddenly dropped down to the starting stack. This has since changed to the better and Moraes just took on Roberto Romanello. The "Welsh Wizard" called the raise of Moraes for 3,500 and checked his option in the big blind on a flop of {K-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Moraes continued for 3,000 and Romanello let go. It was not much of a hand, but helped to bring the count of the Brazilian.

In the meantime, Stephen Chidwick has been eliminated on a different table.

[Removed:343] Involved in Action

Niveau 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

At the same table as big stack Alexander Lynskey and Spanish superstar Adrian Mateos, it was [Removed:342] that has been running the show for the day, being involved in most of the action. Just now, [Removed:343] was in a three-way pot to the {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop and the action checked to [Removed:343] in the cutoff. She bet 26,000 and the button folded, while the player under the gun called with just 22,000 behind.

The {7-Spades} fell on the river and [Removed:343]'s opponent checked. "Can I see your stack?" she asked, and then bet 15,700. Ultimately, this forced a fold and her opponent showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} face up. "King queen of clubs? 100 bucks and I will show you," [Removed:343] said, but her offer was not taken.

"I am glad I didn't make my flush. I had nine-ten of clubs," the button added.
