The final 15 players in Event #24: $1,500 Limit Hold’em are set and heading back tomorrow at 2 p.m. for a chance at the first place prize of $177,985 and a WSOP gold bracelet.

World Series of Poker Hall of Famer Barry Greenstein (316,000) has three bracelets already and is seeking number four.

Ray Henson has four WSOP circuit rings, but is still seeking his first WSOP bracelet. He got close in 2015 when he finished third in The Colossus for $308,761. The remaining players all seeking their first WSOP gold bracelet, including Day 2 chip leader Nancy Nguyen (574,000)

Mike Reed (364,000) started Day 2 as the chip leader and held it for most of the day until the final two levels.

Three-time WSOP bracelet winner Ian Johns (18th place) almost made it through to Day 3 after doubling up a handful of times, but eventually he fell to Mark Bassaly (461,000) who knocked out four people late in play on Day 2 to take a big jump up the standings.

Action folded to Ray Henson in the small blind and he raised. Bradley Snider called in the big blind and the flop came {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Henson bet and Snider called.

On the {4-Hearts} turn, Henson bet and Snider raised. Henson called and the river was the {2-Diamonds}. Henson checked and Snider went all in for his last 6,000. Henson thought for a little while and folded.

Snider showed {9-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and nine-high. Henson said "I barely had that beat," and Snider took down the pot.

Nancy Nguyen raised under the gun, Jeff Norman called in middle position, Michael Reed three-bet in late position, and Davin Anderson made it four bets on the button.

It folded all the way back around to Reed, and he called. The flop came {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and they got the rest of the chips in with Anderson at risk.

Reed's pair of tens was ahead of Anderson's pair of sevens. The {K-Diamonds} and the {9-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Anderson was eliminated in 16th place, earning him $5,849.

On the {J-Hearts} turn, Amoroso bet, Henson raised, and Amoroso called. The river was the {J-Clubs} and Amoroso went all in for 6,000. Henson called.

Ian Johns has been eliminated, after surviving several all ins throughout the latter half of the day.

He got all in against Mark Bassaly, who has knocked out three players in the last hour or so. Johns had the best of it with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} against the {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} of Bassaly.

"Four on the door," Bassaly said as the flop came {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. The turn was the {q-Hearts}, giving Johns a chance to double yet again, but the river was the {j-Hearts} and Johns would be eliminated.

Bassaly has finally pulled ahead of Michael Reed, who held the chip lead coming into Day 2 and held it for a great majority of the day.

Thomas Solomon Eliminated in 19th Place ($4,832)

Two players put in four bets each preflop and the flop was {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Henson bet in the big blind and his opponent, Thomas Solomon, called went all in for his last 11,000 in the cutoff. Henson called.

Solomon was behind and couldn't find help from the {6-Clubs} turn or the {7-Diamonds} river. He was eliminated in 19th place, taking home $4,832. The final 18 are redrawing for new seats.

Ian Johns Doubles, Again

Ian Johns went all in for 17,000 in the cutoff and Michael Reed called in the big blind. Before he turned over his hand, Johns said, "You can't beat this hand," and showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Reed had {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

The board came {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}, giving Johns the runner-runner straight to double through once again.
