Bryce Landier Eliminated, Two Former World Champs Go Heads-Up

Niveau 15 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Bryce Landier and Ben Yu got three bets in preflop, and Yu flopped an ace. By the end of the hand, Landier was heading to the rail, and Yu was collecting the pot.

A couple hands later, 2015 WSOP World Champion Joe McKeehen raised from middle position, and another former World Champ, Phil Hellmuth, called from the button.

"The World Champs," said Shaun Deeb as the flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

"Two very good hold'em players," said Hellmuth.

McKeehen cheked, and Hellmuth bet. McKeehen called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}, and McKeehen check-called another bet from Hellmuth. Both players checked the {2-Hearts} river, and Hellmuth called out, "Ace-king."

McKeehen responded by turning over {8-}{8-} and won the hand.

At a nearby table, Aron Dermer and Mark Klecan were eliminated.
