Niveau 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
David Williams
David Williams

David Williams got it all in pre-flop with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} against {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

The flop was {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Williams was up out of his seat and grabbing his belongings as the turn hit the {q-Clubs} and gave him some faint hope. The dealer flipped over the river which was the {q-Diamonds} and Williams nailed it, to make a bigger full house over his opponent while the table collectively exclaimed, "Wow!" Williams put all his things down and got back into his seat to continue fighting the battle still pretty shocked at the turn of events.

Kerstetter Is All Class

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Jamie Kerstetter
Jamie Kerstetter

Jamie Kerstetter was under the gun and moved all in for 4,300. Action folded around to the big blind who got a count and started pondering the call. As he was thinking, another player not in the hand made a comment to the effect of, "The bounty makes it worth it." A couple of players immediately said, "you can't do that" and "it's wrong to say that." Kerstetter didn't say anything and allowed her opponent to continue to make his decision. Eventually her opponent called and Kerstetter had him dominated with her {q-}{j-} against his {j-}{10-}. The board ran out clean and Kerstetter got the double-up.

Prior to the hand being completed the player who made the comment acknowledged it was wrong and apologized. Even before Kerstetter knew she had won the hand she had said for him, "Don't worry about it." After the hand was over he apologized again and Kerstetter showed a great deal of class and poise by reassuring him that, "It's totally okay. We have a fun table and been enjoying ourselves and joking around. I know you didn't mean it badly. It's no problem and thank you for apologizing." She also said that, "Unlike others, this is never a time to just go off on someone," adding that she is not that kind of person.

Kerstetter is up to about 9,000 now after collecting that pot.
