Niveau 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
George Dicambio
George Dicambio

On a board of {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Hearts}, George Dicambio moved all in and was called by Christopher Logue. The two turned up their hands and Dicambio was in the lead.

Dicambio: {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Logue: {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The board completed with the {5-Diamonds}, though, and that gave Logue a straight and the nut low to eliminate Dicambio from the tournament,.

Jared Hemingway Takes One From James Chen With the Nut Nut

Jared Hemingway
Jared Hemingway

Preflop, Jared Hemingway opened and James Chen called.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} and Hemingway led. Chen raised. Hemingway made it three bets and Chen called.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Hemingway bet. Chen called again.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Hemingway thought for about 15 seconds before announcing "bet." Chen thought for about the same amount of time before calling.

"Let me know if I win anything," Hemingway said, showing {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight and the best low.

"Is that the nut nut?" Chen asked.

Hemingway scooped the pot while Chen was forced to send over the chips.

Mark Jenkins Eliminated in 19th Place ($6,725)

Niveau 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Mark Jenkins
Mark Jenkins

Scott Buller raised from under the gun. Action folded around to Mark Jenkins in the big blind and he moved all in for just 8,000 more. Buller called and the two turned up their hands.

Buller: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Jenkins: {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}, giving Buller the best of both halves, and Jenkins was eliminated from the tournament.

The final 18 players will now redraw for seats.

Jim Collopy Eliminated in 17th Place ($8,246)

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Jim Collopy
Jim Collopy

Jim Collopy lost a massive pot to drop to a short stack and then was eliminated in a succession of two hands. In the first hand, Collopy faced off against Benjamin Zamani and Ziya Rahim.

The board read {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} and action checked to Rahim, who bet. Both Zamani and Collopy called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and action checked to Rahim who bet again. Both players called.

On the {K-Spades} river, action checked all the way around to Zamani on the button. He bet and both Collopy and Rahim called. Rahim showed {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} to take the low end of the pot. Zamani showed {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} to take the high side of the pot with a flush. Collopy held on to his cards for about 30 seconds, trying to find a way to take any side of the pot, but he couldn't and he mucked his hand.

The very next hand, Collopy raised. He was called by Dustin Sitar in the blinds.

On the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, Sitar checked. Collopy bet. Sitar raised, and Collopy called. The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Sitar bet. Collopy moved all in and Sitar called.

Sitar showed {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens with a straight draw. Collopy showed {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{X-} for a flush draw. The flush did not come in when the {5-Hearts} came on the river and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Aaron Dermer - 16th Place
Aaron Dermer - 16th Place

Gary Vick raised from under the gun before Dustin Sitar reraised from the cutoff. Aron Dermer then moved all in for 92,000 from the small blind as the decision fell back on Vick. He four-bet and Sitar called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Vick quickly bet out. Sitar thought for a moment then mucked.

Vick: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}
Dermer: {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{k-Spades}

"King or a queen," ask Dermer, as he stood up from his chair.

"I'm dead," Dermer declared, after the dealer produced the {a-Hearts} on the turn sealing his fate.

The meaningless {6-Clubs} completed the board and Dermer was sent to the rail.

Kevin Gerhart - 14th Place

Kevin Gerhart committed his last 31,000 from the hijack and was called by Erle Mankin and James Chen in the blinds.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Mankin checked. Chen threw out a bet, and after a short deliberation, Mankin mucked.

Chen: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Gerhart: {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Gerhart was in trouble with Chen flopping a straight. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn gave Gerhart outs to a full house, but it wasn't to be, as the {7-Clubs} completed the board.
