Reichenstein Building Momentum

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Ryan Lincks raised to 13,000 from middle position, and Uri Reichenstein called from the big blind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and both players checked. The turn brought the {j-Clubs}, and Reichenstein checked again. Lincks bet 15,000, and Reichenstein raised to 48,000. Lincks called, and they were off to the river.

It was the {7-Diamonds}, and Reichenstein bet 95,000. Lincks called, and Reichenstein tabled {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, which was good enough to take down the pot.

"I don't always flat with ace-queen, but when I do, the flop comes queen-queen," Reichenstein said to the player beside him after the hand was finished, as they both had a chuckle.

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

A player in early position raised to 12,000 and was called by the cutoff, the button, and Zhaoxing Wang in the big blind.

Metaal Soars Way Ahead

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Govert Metaal
Govert Metaal

Derek Bowen just moved tables and found himself a couple seats to the left of Govert Metaal. Bowen had one of the larger stacks in the room with around 435,000. After moving to his new table, Metaal was the only player that covered him with about 460,000. Little did they know they would soon get involved in a monster pot with each other.

The two players got all of their chips into the middle preflop, and it was Metaal that had the better hand. Metaal tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, while Bowen showed {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The board ran out {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, and Metaal's aces held up to give a huge chip lead. Bowen, on the other hand, was sent to the cage in disappointment.

Mokhammad Wins Two in a Row

Niveau 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

There was a raise to 10,500 from a player in middle position, and the player in the cutoff called. Kamel Mokhammad was on the button and three-bet to 28,500. The original raiser folded, and the player in the cutoff called. The flop came {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and the action was checked to Mokhammad, who pushed all in. His opponent only had around 43,000 remaining and mucked his cards.

In the next hand, the action was folded to Mokhammad, who raised to 12,500 from the cutoff. The button called, along with the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, and Mokhammad bet 6,500. The button raised to 21,500, the big blind folded, and Mokhammad called. The turn was the {3-Clubs}, and Mokhammad check-called a bet of 25,000. The river brought the {8-Hearts}, and both players checked. Mokhammad tabled {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for the best hand, and his opponent flashed {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} before flying them into the muck.
