Dan Sindelar
Dan Sindelar

The action was on Dan Sindelar and he was facing a raise of 26,000 from his opponent in early position. Sindelar moved all-in for 183,000 and was instantly called by his opponent. His opponent showed {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Sindelar tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

"I'm going to need some help here," Sindelar said as the dealer fanned the flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. That gave Sindelar two pair and the lead in the hand. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river brought the {A-Diamonds}. Sindelar doubled up and lived to fight on.
