Emory Takes from Sindelar

Niveau 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

In the cutoff, Bryan Emory raised to 85,000 and Dan Sindelar three-bet to 215,000 from one seat over on the button, which Emory called. Both players checked the flop of {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} before the {6-Clubs} fell on the turn. Emory bet 200,000 and Sindelar called.

After the {3-Diamonds} river, Emory checked and Sindelar announced a bet of 230,000. Less than half a minute later, Emory tossed in a single chip for the call and Sindelar rolled over {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for jacks and eights with a queen kicker. Emory had that beat with {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for the better kicker and raked in a big pot.

Jacob Bazeley Eliminated in 12th Place ($16,728)

Niveau 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Jacob Bazeley
Jacob Bazeley

Thomas Lutz raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Jacob Bazeley moved all in for his last 120,000. Lutz quickly called and the cards were turned over.

Bazeley: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Lutz: {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

"I love it," Bazeley joked while grabbing his belongings already. The flop fell {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Bazeley was left drawing dead, even before the {A-Diamonds} turn gave Lutz quads. A meaningless {7-Clubs} on the river was just a formality and Bazeley had to settle for 12th place and a payday of $16,728.

Peters Takes it Down

Niveau 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Zhaoxing Wang was on the button and raised to 90,000. Tobias Peters was in the big blind and three-bet to 230,000. Wang called.

The flop was {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Peters led for 185,000. Wang took a minute, then called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and both players checked to the river which was the {7-Hearts}. Peters led for 420,000 and, after taking some time, Wang elected to fold, sending the pot to Peters.

Linster Doubles Through Bazeley

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Mike Linster moved all in three times in quick succession. In the first hand, it was from the button and he claimed the blinds and antes.

In the second hand, Chris Bolek opened to 60,000 and folded to Linster's shove.

Right after, Linster moved all in again, this time for 475,000 in total. Jacob Bazeley reshoved out of the small blind with the superior stack and Dan Sindelar got out of the way in the big blind.

Linster: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Bazeley: {A-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Linster stood up from his chair and his rail a few meters away was curios. The board ran out {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Linster sat back down and said, "We made some kind of straight," over to his rail. Bazeley was left with just 170,000 after the hand and chopped with {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} versus {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} to remain in contention.

James Gilbert
James Gilbert

James Gilbert was under the gun and raised to 65,000. Zhaoxing Wang was in the cutoff and three-bet to 235,000. Gilbert thought for a minute, then moved all in for 810,000 and was snap-called by Wang.

James Gilbert: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Zhaoxing Wang: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Gilbert improved to a full house, getting a full double off of Wang in this cooler hand.

Dubini Finds a Double

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Tobias Peters raised to 60,000 on the button and Sammy Lafleur three-bet to 170,000 from the small blind. Peters took some time before announcing all in and Lafleur quickly folded.

Soon after, Richard Dubini moved all in for his last 310,000 out of the small blind and chipleader Zhaoxing Wang called in the big blind.

Dubini: {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Wang: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board of {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} kept Dubini in the lead and he scored a vital double-up.

Sindelar Leaves Linster in a Bind

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Sindelar was on the button and raised to 60,000. Mike Linster defended his big blind.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both players checked to the turn which was the {j-Hearts}. Linster check-called Sindelar's bet of 55,000.

The river was the {6-Spades} and Linster checked. Sindelar moved all in, having Linster covered, and this sent him into the tank. Linster commented, "I played this hand so bad," and took a couple of minutes before electing to fold. Linster is now the low man on the totem pole with about 315,000.

In the following two hands, Linster moved all in and took it down, chipping up a little bit, but still in a vulnerable position.

Jeff Gigante Eliminated in 13th Place ($13,168)

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Jeffrey Gigante
Jeffrey Gigante

Zhaoxing Wang raised to 75,000 from the hijack and Jeff Gigante moved all in from one seat over. Once the action was back on Wang, he asked for a count and the shove was for 430,000 in total. Wang called and both players tabled an ace with Gigante as the player at risk and in need of help.

Gigante: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Wang: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop didn't change much, but Gigante picked up some chop outs with the {5-Spades} turn. "No chop please," Wang said and his wish was granted thanks to the {2-Spades} on the river. "Good game man," he said to Gigante and they shook hands. Gigante received $13,168 for his efforts and the remaining 12 players, six on each table, have $16,728 locked up now.
