Hands #48-55: Doug Polk on the Upswing

Niveau 23 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #48: Doug Polk moved all in for 3 million from middle position and nobody called him.

Hand #49: Chris Moore raised to 700,000 in the cutoff. Bertrand Grospellier defended his big blind.

Grospellier checked the {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop. He called a bet of 600,000 and the turn was a {7-Clubs}. Grospellier bet out 1,225,000. Moore called. The river was a {2-Diamonds} and Grospellier slowed down with a check. Moore got aggressive again with 2,800,000 and Grospellier folded without delay.

Hand #50: Dario Sammartino raised to 650,000 on the button. Polk defended his big blind and the flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Polk checked and Sammartino checked it back. The {4-Clubs} turn prompted Polk to move all in. It looked to be about 2.9 million and Sammartino thought briefly and folded.

Hand #51: Moore opened for 700,000 first to act and Polk shoved all in from the small blind. It was about 4.5 million and Moore folded in short order.

Hand #52: Polk shoved all in from the button and he won the pot again.

Hand #53: Grospellier raised to 625,000 second to act and Jacobson defended his big blind.

They checked down as {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} hit the felt and Jacobson won the pot with {q-}{9-}.

Hand #54: Grospellier opened for 625,000 for the second-straight hand and Sammartino defended his big blind from "ElkY" as he did on another recent rotation. This time, Sammartino check-folded the {2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop.

Hand #55: Sammartino completed the blind after all of the players acting out of the blinds mucked, and Grospellier raised to 1 million. Sammartino mucked.
