Phil Hellmuth has had a good start to his flight of THE COLOSSUS, chipping up to 18,000 following the elimination of one player.

"In how many years do you become a senior?" asked tablemate Peter Kamaras. Hellmuth removed his headphones and Kamaras repeated his question.

"Negative three," came the reply from 53-year-old.

We didn't quite catch the comment Kamaras made about his tablemate's youthful demeanour, but Hellmuth shot back "Happens when you act like a child!"

Halleux Doubles Through Peters

Pre-flop Roland Israelashvili had a raise of 7,000 in front of him, while Tobias Peters had gone all in from under the gun and Fabrice Halleux from the next position over.

Eventually Israelashvili released his hand and the cards were turned over.

"Ace-Queen?" said Halleux but Peters turned over . Halleux let out an exasperated sigh as he turned over the , with the dealing moving it slightly to reveal the behind him and Halleux was dominated.

The flop came with no help for Halleux. "King on the river," said Halleux as the turn was dealt. The river was the giving Halleux a flush.

"No comment," he said, chipping up to just under 20 big blinds.

Thorel vs Ensan

Avramidis Extends Chip Lead

Makarios Avramidis raised to 2,400 from the hijack and the player in the cutoff called. The big blind moved all in for 11,900. Avramidis asked for a count before calling.
