Parker Talbot raised to 38,000 first to act and Andrei Demidov in the cutoff three-bet to 150,000. Michal Mrakes in the small blind four-bet to 508,000 and Talbot folded, while Demidov moved all in for 529,000. A quick call by Mrakes followed and both players turned over premium hands.
Andrei Demidov:
Michal Mrakes:
The flop gave Demidov top set while Mrakes picked up a flush draw on the turn. However, the river was a blank and Mrakes had to forfeit one third of his stack.
Mark Roberts jammed for 199,000 on the button and Vlad Darie got the count from the big blind. He didn't seem thrilled about it but called nonetheless.
Roberts:
Darie:
Roberts wasn't far behind, but he still needed help after the flop. Unfortunately for him, the turn would end the sweat by giving Darie trips, and the was the meaningless river.
Andrei Boghean raised to 36,000 and Michal Mrakes called on the button, as did Parker Talbot in the big blind. On the flop, Talbot checked and so did Boghean. Mrakes bet 57,000 and Talbot quickly folded, while Boghean carefully counted his stack before check-raising to 179,000. Mrakes called and the fell on the turn.
Boghean once again counted his stack for quite some time while Talbot and Anthony Zinno in the one seat were engaged in some discussion. Boghean bet 357,000 and Mrakes was in the think tank. "Is this the time to call the clock?" Zinno said but didn't do so just yet. Talbot called the clock soon after and Mrakes folded.
The board read and Marti Roca De Torres check-called the 33,000 bet of Abdelhakim Zoufri.
The on the river completed the board with the , Roca De Torres checked again. Now Zoufri bet 106,000 which sent Roca De Torres into the tank. After about a minute or two, he counted out part of his stack and decided to bet 235,000. Zoufri called immediately. Roca De Torres tabled for the ace-high flush which was better than the of Zoufri with the lower flush.
Vlad Darie had pushed against a raise by Mark Roberts twice to force a fold before Roberts moved all in and claimed the big blind of Darie earlier in the level.
Just now, Abdelhakim Zoufri raised to 36,000 and Darie three-bet to 104,000 on the button. Zoufri four-bet all in for 326,000 and Darie called for half of his stack.
Abdelhakim Zoufri:
Vlad Darie:
The board ran out and there was no upset, as Zoufri's kings held up for the double.
Before the break, Michal Mrakes had a set of aces against the two pair of Luis Rodriguez to boost his stack further and it was the latter that just min-raised from under the gun. Roman Herold moved all in from the button for 130,000 and Mrakes called in the big blind, forcing out Rodriguez.
Roman Herold:
Michal Mrakes:
The board ran out and Herold was drawing dead on the turn. "Would you have called if I shove?" Rodriguez asked his table neighbor and Mrakes just smiled back.
